Our client: European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)
The brief and what we did: We were engaged to support a new energy infrastructure project funded by several of the largest development banks. Our scope included working with the borrower, a joint venture organisation, to prepare Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) tender documentation that integrated environmental and social requirements to manage associated risks and meet development bank standards.
We also prepared project environmental and social governance documents to ensure compliance and incorporate controls into the project execution schedule.
The outcome: The EPC tender specifications were meticulously prepared, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and development bank requirements. These included the scopes of biodiversity baseline surveys within a project implementation framework designed to facilitate borrower oversight.
Our team prepared comprehensive governance documents to facilitate the execution of the project; these were tailored to the borrowers’ organisation and contextual risks.
